Things to do This Weekend Guide
I wanted to drop in and say hello. I hope you all are enjoying my tribute to Women's History Month. I think it's so important for us to do whatever we can and use our influence to propel the RIGHT agendas. But it's finally the weekend!!! Which leaves some of us with the dilemma on what should we do with this extra time... So I wanted to share you all some of my fav things to do to fill up time (as if i don't have enough work but... gotta have some fun too). I also am gonna post up some great drinks I think you should try to make this weekend.
Enjoy the blog guys...
1. Visit a Museum
I live in the Tri-State area and there is so much to do! There's not a day that goes by that there isn't something going on. But why not expand your horizons and go and visit a museum. This could be a great first date idea as well. If you don't know of any off hand just google, 'Museums Near Me' and you'll get a list.
2. YouTube Something
You'd be surprise on how much stuff is on YouTube. There are tutorials, there are MOVIES, there are series that people have made that are actually pretty good (Remember Awkard Black Girl by Issa Rae?) . Check it out.
3. Visit Your Family
Sometimes your family can give you the exact pickup that you need. Why not stop by your moms or your sisters and hang out a little bit. There's nobody like family!
4. Take a Walk
Yeah New Yorkers I know it's cold outside. But there is nothing like getting the blood flowing. Going for a walk can not only help you burn a few calories, and you know I'm alllllll about that, but it can help you reflect and think about the stuff that you need to. Sometimes you can find the loudest answers to the questions you've been thinking about the most just by having that quiet time. Try it out.
5. Research a New Topic
Have you been thinking about something? Research it! Since I'm all into this Women's History Month I've been doing a lot of research and I'm learning that sometimes you don't even have to reinvent the wheel, you just need to learn about others and you can pick up little gems that can help propel you to where you need to be. So do some research. Also, are you interested in moving into another industry, well do some research on the industry and the power players... Just might lead you to where you need to be.
Use your time wisely folks! And enjoy the weekend!!!
